Friends of Toolern Creek Platypus Festival 2009

Held on Saturday, October 10 at Toolern Creek

Over 800 people attended the festival this year, making it a great success.

We've had lots of feedback that it was a great day, people were able to catch up with others in fun and relaxing atmosphere, and glad of the opportunity to be a part of it.

Join Us in Making a Difference

Anyone can become a Friend, visitors are welcome. We work on projects to help conserve and protect our natural environment. We meet at Freeway Reserve, Cnr Raymond St and Tamar Drive, Melways Map 337 A12 for our activities, unless otherwise notified.

Group Activities include:

  • Annual Tree Monitoring
  • Rubbish Collection
  • Frog Census
  • Water Watch
  • Tree Planting
  • Seed Collection
  • Bird Watching
  • Weed removal and improving habitat
  • Walking Group Monday 10:30am
