Community "listening post" for Toolern Creek Regional Park
A New Park for a Growing Community
As part of the early consultation for Toolern Creek Regional Park, Parks Victoria began talking with local residents at shopping centres. The aim is to gain a broad idea of what local people would be looking for in a regional park.
On display were the site analysis plans that were displayed at the recent Landcare and Friends Forum. There were also plans showing a draft alignment of the cycling and walking trail and possible location of sporting field and picnic areas. These plans are early concepts designed for discussion purposes.
We are aiming to have a draft master plan ready to display to the community from 22 June to 17 July, with a “Discovery Day” on the park site on Saturday 4 July.
